On a recent visit to Melbourne, Future Battery Industries Cooperative Research Centre CEO Shannon O’Rourke took the opportunity to call in on the team at Savic Motorcycles in West Melbourne.
A bike enthusiast, Shannon is impatiently awaiting the arrival of his customised Series C in 2023.
Made in Australia and powered by 80 prismatic cells contained in a single monocoque power frame, the Series C Alpha was recently awarded the prestigious Victorian Premier’s Design Award.
Capable of going from 0 to 100 in 3.5 seconds, charging in 4.5 hours with a range exceeding 200 km, Shannon will be revving up a storm across Perth in no time (but strictly within the speed limit of course).
