In May the FBICRC held its second Participant Research Forum. This 6 hour online event attracted over 80 people, with good feedback received. The purpose of the event was to:
- provide a high-level presentation of the CRC’s current portfolio of 15 projects with a focus on team members, goals, milestones, key risks and progress.
- promote the FBICRC and attract interest from potential participants.
Each Project Leader provided a pre-recorded 15-minute summary of their project, then addressed questions that arose from the attendees at the end of each session.
There was also a round-table discussion held chaired by FBICRC board member Bruce Godfrey, with Masoud Abshar from Magellan Powertronics, Louise Mercer of Everledger and Andrew Bailey of the MinEx CRC.
