In July 2022, the Deputy Premier the Hon. Roger Cook led the largest ever trade delegation to India on behalf of the WA Government. Amongst the 110 delegates were representatives from the FBICRC and a number of our participants including Ultra Power Systems (UPS).

Following on from the successful mission, UPS recently signed an MoU with the Eagle Press Group in India.

In Perth to further progress the agreement between the companies, representatives took the opportunity to visit Ultra’s Bibra Lake facility and see firsthand their standalone power station which will service remote regional communities and mining operations.

Cyclone rated and modular, there are two battery modules with a total of 12kw/80kWh with additional cell stacks boosting to 24kw constant, peak power 40kw/80kWh and 32kw of solar plus 4kw wind turbine.

Chief Executive Officer Shannon O’Rourke applauded the efforts of the WA Government in facilitating the trade mission.

“We were pleased to play a role in connecting UPS with the team at the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Industry (JTSI) who did an amazing job in pulling the mission together. The subsequent MOU that has been signed between UPS and the Eagle Press Group is an important step towards the establishment of trade between the two companies,” said Shannon.
